I’ve always wanted to try surf photos as well. Do you think a 300mm 2.8 with TCs would be usable Michael ? Or really need a 500mm or 600mm ?
Dan – A 300mm/1.4x or 1.7x can work if the waves are huge. It also depends on your camera. If you have a smaller than full frame camera then it can work for sure, especially if you have a 1.7X teleconverter.
