Sea Kayaking adventure featured on Red Bull Adventure Website

My recent sea kayaking adventure on the inside passage in Canada has been featured on the Red Bull Adventure website. This trip was a personal trip and also one of my best adventures so far this year. It is great to see it get picked up so quickly. I had only been back a few weeks when I sent out an e-promo with one of the sea kayaking images from this trip. The very next day Red Bull contacted me and wanted to do a web gallery with the brand-new images.

This trip was a new adventure for me as I had never done an extended sea kayaking trip. We were blessed to see so much incredible wildlife while sea kayaking and camping in and around the Johnstone Straight on the far northern edge of Vancouver Island. Over six days we saw hundreds of orcas, dolphins, seagulls, seals, eagles and humpback whales. I have never felt so close to nature on any excursion. Below are a few other images from this adventure that weren’t included in the Red Bull Adventure web gallery.

My thanks to Red Bull for featuring my work alongside that of many other talented adventurers and photographers. Also, my thanks to Tony Hoare and Joe Nodeland, my fellow adventurers on this sea kayaking trip. Without their knowledge and logistical support this trip would have never happened. Look for a full recounting of this trip in the Fall 2013 issue of the Michael Clark Photography Newsletter.
