Santa Fe. Coming to a city near you. The Santa Fe Workshops is taking their two-day workshop concept on the road next year. The first stop on this series will be in Los Angeles and will be held at Santa Monica College. Following the LA series, the workshops will travel to Austin in May, and continues with three cities in the fall (locations TBD). As a part of this series, I am honored to be teaching alongside some of the most iconic and well-known photographers anywhere on earth. In January 2014, I will be joining legendary photographers Greg Gorman, Art Streiber and Frank W. Ockenfels 3 to put on three 2-day workshops. I will be teaching my Nikon D800 workshop entitled, “Nikon D800: Successfully Using Your Camera.” Greg Gorman will be teaching a workshop entitled, “Fine-Art Digital Printmaking” and Art Streiber and Frank Ockenfels 3 will be teaming up to teach a workshop entitled, “An Insider’s View: Editorial and Advertising Photography.”
My Nikon D800 Workshop has been a huge success and has sold out twice already (with a waiting list) when we offered it here in Santa Fe earlier this year. We have tweaked and improved the workshop building upon the last two go arounds and this will be a great opportunity to learn about the basic and advanced features of the D800 so you can get the most out of this stellar camera. And honestly, if I wasn’t teaching I would love to attend the workshop that Art Streiber and Frank Ockenfels 3 are teaching – that looks like a winner for sure.
