i SUPPOSE this day was inevitable and that you would finally swtich fully to mirrorless. As a nikon shooter it’s sad to see you leave but as you said, nikon has some ground to make up. I am hoping that it’s sooner than later. I just started trying some action sports photography with my D850 the past few weeks and have had a blast doing it. I’d love to swtich to mirrorless but waiting for nikon to come out with a real groundbreaking machine. Maybe one day I’ll be able to attend one of your workshops and learn more about this genre of photography. Also, didn’t you have a blog post about setting a D850 up for action sports photography? Scott — thanks for the comment. I haven’t fully left Nikon. I still have my Nikon Z mirrorless kit in the hopes that they will bring out a blazing fast mirrorless sports camera this year. If they don’t, or can’t, then a lot of us will be moving on to another system. And of course, the FUJIFILM GFX 100 is my main kit right now. I did publish an article on the blog about how to set up the GFX 100 to capture action images. Maybe that is what you were thinking of?
I am hoping that this happens too. Though I am not in a huge hurry to swtich over it would nice to see nikon come out with something for sports. seeing that the olympics are this year one would hope they’d release a new body for it. it possibly was the gfx that you published an article on.
